This Rug From Revival Rugs Is Right At Home In The Playroom

 

The size of a rug plays a great part in how a space functions and can make or break the design of the space. I recently updated the playroom with not only the ideal size rug but one of the softest rugs my feet have touched. Drool-worthy In Morocco

Snow Day

 I am really just posting this here to mark this rare occurrence. We got a couple inches of snow here in N.C., and it's been years since that has happened. I snapped this pic of the shed in the backyard. The children were overjoyed and truthfully,  I loved it too. How was your weekend? Did you get snow too? xx

Our Windowless Laundry Room Gets A Nice Dose of Color and Pattern - Before and After Edition

I am excited to share our laundry room update with you. I actually completed most of this project last year, but didn't get around to doing some minor detail work on it to get it close to the finish line until this week. There are no windows in this space, thus it's dark and was really not the kind of "sunshiney" space I love. Well adding windows wasn't an option, so I added sunshine in the form of colors and patterns. Let's take a look at what I did:

I painted the walls a lovely green; Benjamin Moore Clearspring Green. 

I removed the cabinet fronts and painted those in Benjamin Moore Autumn Red.

I had an electrician replace the boob light and had the ceiling wallpapered.

Now, I can't stop looking up! The wallpaper is this one from Anthropologie. 

This week, I finally got around to filling in the holes and repainting after removing the

 wire shelf.

I replaced it with that lovely piece of art from Mikenzi Jones. I also shared a quick video reel tour on IG, here. I'll update the post once I reshoot the space during the daytime with my camera. A Fresh and Stylish Apartment In Barcelona

 

A belated Happy New Year to you! I'm slowly easing into 2022 and while I am not one for resolutions, I always embrace intentions. Gratitude will be the theme for 2022. There is so much that I am thankful for and I don't want to ever lose sight of that. With that said, I am excited to reach deep into my creative repertoire this year and can't wait to share upcoming projects! Yesterday, I found a bus ticket from Barcelona from a long time ago when the hubby and I traveled there. That trip was one of the most stimulating ones we took while living in Europe. I remember how in awe I was of the architecture and the colors! This apartment we're about to tour brought back such fond memories of that trip. I love how fresh and stylish the design feels and of course the colors are yummy!

Designed by the creative team of The Room Studio, the apartment is a delightful treat for the eyes. I love the seamless flow from one space to the next, the choices in the furnishings and accessories-so warm and inviting!
