This fresh and colorful apartment in Milan oozes cheery and totally makes me happy. I love the different textures, the mix of vintage and modern furniture pieces, the color play, the strategic use of wallpaper,  and the overall happy vibe of the design aesthetic. Italian design duo Andrea Marcante and Adelaide Testa definitely nailed the modern take on the 1950’s vibe that inspired the design of this lovely apartment.

The designers chose Fornasetti II for Cole & Son “Chiavi Segrete” wallpaper for the dining and living area. A beautiful cabinet in lacquered MDF and Vienna straw divides the room. It was designed by Marcante Testa and made by Falegnameria Fiore. The wicker chair is an original 1950s design by Gio Ponti.

love this bathroom!

I hope your week is off to a great start and this lovely dose of color helped to brighten your day. xPHOTOGRAPHER: HELENIO BARBETTA
