As a military household that has led quite the nomadic lifestyle, we have many pieces from places like Italy, Germany, Spain, Africa, and also pieces from the many places my husband has been to during his deployments. Works of art, handmade pieces, bold patterned exotic rugs, and textiles are sprinkled throughout our home and their presence has given our home a global flair. Today's post showcases 11 swoon worthy global inspired spaces.
Nowadays, you don't need to hop on a plane or travel overseas to add a bit of global flavor to your home. I've thrifted a couple of global pieces right here. Etsy and Ebay are also other great sources for global finds. Happy Wednesday everyone! xx

looooved perusing these pics. its my favorite thing to shop around when i'm traveling! my house is now decked out in all these wool rugs I bought in small mountain village in the sierra Nevada! they were SO cheap (a huge rug for wesleys room was 30 euros!). I was fortunate to have a boat that we pulled behind the camper to store them all in, lol!
ReplyDeleteI'm not usually a black & white or black & cream person (I love my color, color, color!!), but I gotta tell you, that first photo--the bedroom--has me drooling. I love everything in it.
