I enjoy dining at home and usually opt for a quiet evening at home to celebrate special occasions. As usual, I like using items I already have and creating this colorful romantic dinner was not difficult at all!
I decided to use this table that is on the porch because it's round and is the perfect size for an intimate dinner for two. I removed all the succulents and placed it in the shadiest part of our yard.
For the tablecloth, I chose to use two. I used a tie dye fabric to add the color pop and layered it with the lace for a romantic effect. Both were scored at a thrift store and the round table was the perfect size! Vintage candlesticks with colorful tapered candles, a copper bowl, and pink flamingo napkins and color and bling to the table top.
A colorful striped blanket with lanterns hung with colorful citronella tea lights add comfort and color.
Lit bare bulbs in trees add the perfect romantic ambience.
At dusk, light the candles for the perfect ambience
This is actually a thrifted chandelier that I hung from a branch. I removed the three tiny bulbs and cut tapered candles to fit the light slots. I love it! xx

ReplyDeleteVery festive. The glow from the soft lighting must be beautiful against the vibrant color.

My pleasure I found your blog while I was scrolling my mouse pointer on the google search page to get some good ideas about farmhouse chandelier. Just the title 'romantic dinner' caught my attention and I was prompted to take a tour into this post. It's totally amazing and crazy loving environment. In the dark shape the variation of lighting surely made any visitor absent minded with good feelings. I honestly enjoyed the festive moment. By the way, I also would like to share a site that may produce some great lighting ideas for any readers here taking a tour to https://www.claxy.com/t/farmhouse-chandelier/.
