I mentioned recently that I have a couple projects to share with you. Well, this is the first one. In December,  I re-styled the Master bedroom with the help of Pier1 Imports  for a feature and article that I wrote for the local paper. The article was about tips for refreshing your bedroom for the new year. You can read the articlehere. The feature was published yesterday, so now, I am able to show and tell you all about it!

. This was also especially exciting because I was able to  work with Lea(again) of Lea Hartman Photography. She captured the space and quite beautifully, for this feature.  I will list the items from Pier 1 at the end but let’s take a look at the rest of the space…

I moved the chair to the opposite side of the room to create this cozy seating area. If you followed the one room challenge, then you also shouldn’t be surprised to see the bird art. There was actually a pair, but I had to separate them because they didn’t face each other when placed together. That is not good feng shui and the original design of the space was based on feng shui.

Nelson Bench above is my own and was relocated from another room.

The changes were minor, but made such a difference in the feel of the space. A big shout out to Linda ofCalling it Home who created the One Room Challenge  My space as it is now would probably not have happened if I hadn’t participated in the challenge. Ok, with that said, here are the items from Pier 1:
