My Thrift Finds from this Weekend.

PicsArt_1359998533248
I went to Pittsboro and Sanford in North Carolina to hunt for hidden treasures this weekend. This post features a few of my lucky finds. Those two antique brass candle holders were scored for $5 each. I know-lucky me?? You know brass/gold is so hot right now too!! They are also in very good condition too; a few nicks here and there but nothing a little polishing can’t fix. Plus, nicks add character.

I scored this vintage orange mushroom stool for $25; currently in Baby Ian’s nursery. However, I am thinking of ‘borrowing’ it for myself. I just love it!  How was your weekend? Did anyone go thrifting?  Blessings and happy Monday my friends. XX

  4. i swear u get THE best stuff - i forgot to get back to u over the weekend - but i scored a few thrift finds (navajo blanket, top from Hawaii, and a vintage caftan) - then well we won't get into the trouble i got myself in at HomeGoods - i need to buy stock in that place!!!! - i'm DYING over the mushroom! ...

ps - to my defense it's so darn cold here i don't wanna go in and out of the car thrifting - i uncovered a few goldmines from friends but haven't been there to actually see for myself!

  6. Well done you! I see a similar shape between the footstool and the candlesticks, actually, or is that just me? They are both gorgeous - and such wonderful curvaceous shapes. Isn't it a fun thrill to find things second hand? So much more of a "score" sensation than purchasing new things. x

  8. Is it just me, or do a lot of bloggers live in SC? That area has great treasures and bloggers who want to torture us with it. I'm jealous of the candlesticks. Don't take Ian's mushroom. It is soooo cute the way you have it in the picture.
