Broken Hearted.

PicsArt_1342657608102
Barely home, and now he’s off again. The hubby is being whisked off to war again for another deployment and I’ve been an emotional wreck. We’re close to the ten times mark for the number of times that he’s left and I’d say that’s way too many for just one family. Enough is enough, don’t you think?  Wearing the title of army wife, military spouse is usually a great honour.  However,  it’s become quite burdensome and emotionally draining…

P.S. On another note, most of you have been on a couple deployment journey with me, given me virtual hugs etc. Thank you.

P. P.S. That’s my new wall paper in the background(in the powder room). When I’m in a better mood, I’ll show you the bathroom makeover. xx

  1. Hi Stacey...so sorry. I know that must be sooo hard. Having had a father in the military I remember those deployments but our world was not in the strife and turmoil that we are in now. I hope you have a good support system, of friends and family which can make all the difference in the world and I know the kids have to light up every single day like a ray of sunshine. Sending you a hug and a big shout out to the extraordinary heroic job your husband is doing!!!!!!!!

  10. That is not a happy face we're seeing above and I'm so sorry for it. I wish I could give you a big hug right now and try to make things a little better for you. Ten times is way to many times especially when you have two little ones at home. You'll get through it and we will all be right it for you.

  22. My dearest one,

I was away from the computer for an entire week, entertaining my best friend from high school that flew in from out of town.

She has left and though I have great memories of her stay, I am so happy to get hooked up again with yet another "family" and that is ALL OF YOU. I am broken hearted for YOU as I see your beautiful face here, knowing that you are broken inside.

I think I am with YOU feeling that enough is enough. What good does all this fighting bring....I am so proud of YOU and your husband for having taken on the courage to defend this homeland. But I want him to stay home with you. Enough IS enough.

    HUGS TO YOU, Anita

  23. Hi Stacey, I saw your comment on Simple Dwellings about your hubby being deployed and I had to come over to your blog. My husband just got out of the military a couple months ago, and I know that feeling. You aren't alone, so keep your head up and stay strong!! Remember, a military wife is the hardest job in the military. :) I hope you have a great day!
