Framing gloves as art.

gloved art
We can’t all afford to go out and buy expensive art pieces to adorn our walls so how fun and creative would it be to frame gloves as art! The framed gloves above are actually orphaned gloves from a homeowners collection. He paired them and framed them, noting the dates and locations where they were found.  Don’t you just love this idea of framing gloves? Who knows, this might spark a weekend projectSmile.  I hope everyone has a productive weekend and have some fun! Happy April Fool's day too(today).XX

  5. What a cute idea. I want to do something like this with Ariyana's shoes or gloves or something. I think it would have so much meaning. I wish I started doing that with her mittens now

  6. That is so cool and unique. Hmm I don't have a need for gloves here so why not frame them?

  21. What a lovely idea... makes me wish I had kept all my children's gloves to frame for them now... Do be sure to keep your little's one's gloves through the years - he'll love it when he's a father!
    Have a great Sunday!

  22. I kept several pair of my late mother's prized leather gloves. They're in a ziplock bag to preserve the scent of Pall Mall cigarettes and YSL's Paris perfume. I'd be willing to sacrifice one pair to frame. What a wonderful idea!

  23. GOOD EVENING DEAR STACY! Thank you for stopping by the place! Oh yes, YOU ARE IN for the wand give away! KEEP ALL YOUR DIGITS CROSSED! We are finally getting some warm air now! TOday was so fun. My sweet friend came over for a fruit salad and we just sat in my new room, looking out the FRENCH DOORS onto our garden. Even though there are still chunks of ice, the RABBITS were out and doing their spring "LOVE RITUAL" where the do this sort of dance; one hops over the other then the other follows suit. And we got a front-row seat from my room. So I eating my grapes and dreaming of THE BEACH!!! I am celebrating our birthdays all month long!

    Enjoy your weekend dearest, Anita
