I love how open plans tend to tease us a bit by giving us a peek-a-boo of sorts into adjoining spaces. Usually if you’re in such a home, you find your feet just wandering off into that space, especially if it’s a tease that you just couldn’t resist! Here’s to a fantastic weekend for everyone! Snow snow, go away!(for those who still have snow). XX

I love these rooms! One of my favorite looks is white walls with pops of color brought in with furniture or accessories :)
ReplyDeleteI love the pop of color on the walls and visible from other rooms- the art work on the walls is amazing! Such great pieces- the light with the black shade reminds me of something that might be made with chalk stickers or chalk paint- very cool! Have a great day lady! Ren
ReplyDeleteI love the traffic flow and the brightness of this space!
ReplyDeleteGood morning beautiful! I ADORE the home tours you take me on....I need that fireplace in the second picture!!!!!! I was so busy yesterday that I missed your LUNCH POST! Must go take a peek....Anita
ReplyDeleteSuch fresh, modern and open spaces - lovely! Have a smashing weekend, Stacey!
ReplyDeleteLove the open and airy vibe each of these rooms has, and like you I like the "peekaboo" effect of seeing a glimpse of another room too. I also like the pops of color in adjoining rooms in a few of the above..nice pictures.
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful weekend!
The second and the fourth one are amazing and totally my style:) I love those little peek-a-boo images:) Happy weekend, darling

Love all these stylish openings - especially love the first. My favorite is a long enfilade - just love that look!!
ReplyDeleteI love these rooms too. I can almost not wait to own my own home and get started. I don't want to decorate it myself though. I have to leave that to the professionals :-)
ReplyDeleteI love the blue ceilings.
ReplyDeleteI am inspired by the whole peek a boo concept. Looking beyond one room is a wonderful idea.
happy weekend

The photo with the fuschia throw is brilliant. Whoever designed that space is a genius. I love how the floor plan lets you see 3 rooms at once and your eye is drawn to the art on the wall so it doesn't seem like a vast and endless space. Great photos as always Stacey. xo Carol
ReplyDeleteThat first one is just gorgeous!!!
ReplyDeleteDefinitely could see myself there.
Have a wonderful weekend Stacey!
So many great, inspiring images! I'm new to your blog but I love it!

ReplyDeleteHappy Weekend! I love the open spaces, the fireplace, and the big couch in the last photo! All homes should be built with open floor plans! :)

ReplyDelete(@ECmothdesign) Wishing you a fab weekend. xo
That second room is delightful! Loving the black!
ReplyDeleteI like open spaces, but living in such a cold climate, I wonder how practical they are. It takes such a huge amount of money to heat large spaces in the north. One can wish, I suppose.
ReplyDeleteSo right dear - love the space and the sleigh chairs!
ReplyDeleteHave a lovely weekend and glad to be back checking blogs!
Marcel Breuer, Verner Panton, Eileen Gray- always such joy to see in peoples homes!
ReplyDeleteThat last image is totally my favourite one though, perfect bookshelf, perfect brightness, and a perfect ensamble of white!
Hope your weekend has been a joy!
Hugs!
Love the use of color in this place!
ReplyDeleteAnd how exciting that you can finally move into your new home Stacey - I can't wait to see how you decorate it :)
