It’s no secret that I’m not afraid to be bold in my décor. A bold approach doesn’t have to be “over the top.” In fact the meaning of bold is quite relative from one person to the next. For one person, it could mean tossing a couple Jonathan Adler throw pillows on a couch, while for someone else it could mean wallpapering an entire kitchen with some Ferm Living Wallpaper, or painting an accent wall for another. However, a bold gesture is a definitive way to let ones personality shine through in ones home. Do you dare to be bold in your décor? Happy Wednesday my lovelies. XX
I love using bold color with accessories so it's easy to switch up if I choose too, but I'm thinking of adding bold color to the walls in my office to get creative juices flowing :)
ReplyDeleteI love that black, white and green flowery wallpaper! xo
ReplyDeleteTHIS IS A MARVELOUS WAY TO WAKE UP at 3:45am! Oh Stacy, I LOVE YOUR BOLDNESS! This is why I have chosen a neutral décor: so that I can throw a BOLD pillow in TURQUOISE or PURPLE, have a LOUD and LOVELY BOUQUET on my white table....so that I can CHANGE my colors for the seasons. O.K., that gray couch. I need it. I WANT IT! Teeheeeee...I have a killer diller one to share, very similar to this one, for my next post. But I bet your new home is going to be spectacular. DID YOU GET YOUR CHANDELIER??? WE WANT SOME PICTURES!!!! I know, I know; people kept asking me for pictures of our addition, but I am STILL not ready to reveal everything for we are still in the process of getting things in shape. I am planning to tackle painting our dining room this weekend, for it is the segway into the new room and I want to get the old chandelier back up and my harvest table in. SO MUCH FUN AND so little time on a teacher's schedule! SENDING YOU HUGS, Anita
ReplyDeleteI love them all...
ReplyDeleteCan you put them all into your new house?
Maybe not:)
However all the photos look just great...
Have a great day.
I'm not bold in my decorating but I do like a pop of color in among what I call simple drama. I love that tufted velvet sofa above!
ReplyDeleteHave a fabulous day Stacey!

I'm so not bold in my decor, it's sad. My bold is pillows, haha :)
ReplyDeleteI don't personally implement much bold into my personal decorating but do have an apprecation for it when done right. Many pretty images above, the first one is a beautiful space...far more "boldness" than I could live with day to day but do think its a really pretty room.
ReplyDeleteFabulous round up of bold interiors...really great!
ReplyDeleteI love that you are bold with your interiors! These are great finds! xo
ReplyDeleteThat purple room is quite cosy!!! Have a lovely day!
ReplyDeleteKristin xo
yes,i am bold...i like whimsy and quirkiness...love the first four rooms...must buy a fornasetti pillow...covet the tufted sofa. great post, stacey. always a good time here at design addict mom!
ReplyDeletethe picture with the old thai art above the bed makes me swoon. And the chesterfield. :]
ReplyDeleteI am bold in my children's room but not as daring in the rest of the house! I have used reds in a few rooms over the years but my new obsession is orange. I think it's because winter is so gray! xoxo
ReplyDeletethe 1st photo - the one with all the magenta - THAT'S the color of ALL my hallways in my house! - YES THAT BOLD! .. it's HARD for me to be 'minamalist' - but i'm trying SO hard to be in my living room - i LOVE A LOT of 'things' and i like them to be ALL around me - so the other pics with LOADS of color and things ADORE!!!!

I am far from bold, I envy those who can do it in both their homes and their wardrobes. I am coveting that yellow lamp though, swoon.
ReplyDeleteOMG! I love the pink chairs in the first pic!
ReplyDeleteObsessed with the image of the yellow chair and zebra rug...fabulous!!
ReplyDeleteOh how I love a little bold colour or print in a home- these were fabulous Stacey- such an energizing way to start my day. xo
ReplyDeleteThe green and white couch is too fun! I'm not too bold now in our small space but would be some day!
ReplyDeleteOh my I want that sofa !!!
ReplyDeleteI am mostly a neutral kind of gal but lately I have been throwing colors in the mix and I love love your inspirations. The mix of textures and colors is so lively.
ReplyDeleteI'm not bold in my house decor, but I love to add some bold details
ReplyDeletereally love all those spaces
they're awesome
I'm saving a few, hope you don't mind
and I'm really looking forward to seeing your house decoration

I love the room with all the Fornasetti! I tried out the wallpaper in my bathroom, but it was just too much. The pillows and plates are the perfect touch.
ReplyDeleteI do love to be bold but some of these images make me look like a huge wimp with colour. The black and white floral wallpaper reminds me of our house when I was a teenage and I constantly ridiculed my mother for using it. Now I love it:) Carol
ReplyDeleteI love picking bold pieces and accessories for the house. Not everywhere, but just touches make a big impact :)
ReplyDeleteThe first one I wanna replicate in my own home!!!
ReplyDeleteWow- amazing spaces. I love the tufted gray couch and last kitchen!
ReplyDeleteLove that first room and also that black floral wallpaper. Amazing! xoxo
ReplyDeleteSo well said! We are all on different places on the interior design spectrum, so it's all about finding what works for you. I adore the wallpapered pics above...and I learned in decorating my last couple of homes that I am drawn to high contrast.
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to see what bold moves you have in store for your new home!!
xo Elizabeth
Each of these is fantastic Stacey. I especially love the first one. I have the wallpaper in the second one in my house!! It's really beautiful.
ReplyDeleteGreat interiors, colors, feeling, everything!! I'm moving in!
ReplyDeleteAll the rooms have the right amount of color, texture and stuff. Nothing seems overdone even though there's a lot of mixes going on.
ReplyDeleteYes, I'm starting to change my color perception and adding more to my home little by little.
Great post!
I'm not bold in decorating, but I admire people like you who are! The bedroom with the magnolia wallpaper is awesome... and maybe it's not magnolia - I don't know my flowers, haha.
ReplyDeleteWow, the wallpaper in that first picture is STUNNING!
ReplyDeleteYou would definitely think bold if you saw my foyer! I am loving this :) Bold does not make me wince one bit. You my dear, are so beautiful! XO
ReplyDeleteHI Stacey!
ReplyDelete:)
