I know I’m posting twice today-unbelievable! However, I had to post this home tour(spotted here). This home belongs to an architect and no it’s not cold. In fact it’s quite the opposite. His name is Warren Techentin (his wife is Mimi Techentin) and they live in Los Feliz, California. I think his home is universally appealing and it is bursting at the seams with all of my favourites; colour, books, wallpaper, beautiful lighting, sexy furniture and I could go on and on…However, since I really should be getting some work done instead of posting, why don’t you just see for yourself?

Très magnifique, no? XX
What an interesting home! I definitely love their wallpaper. :)
ReplyDeleteI love the cabinets. I'm thinking of replacing the doors in my kitchen with frosted glass ones, but one project at a time.
ReplyDeletei really like their kitchen and the magazine wall is a great idea!
ReplyDeleteWOW - the wallpaper in the powder room rocks!! So much colors in this house, it's beautiful!
ReplyDeleteWOW! I love this home - I want bookshelves this in my home when I'm older to fill with lots and lots of books! Great find :) x
ReplyDeleteOh wow, so gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteThat is a WOW home! Love the children's room and that cool kitchen!!
ReplyDeleteReally great house- I wonder what that little square opening/shelf is at the bottom of their staircase.
ReplyDeletethis house is amazing...the kitchen, the bathroom!
ReplyDeleteAn architect who is also a modern art lover, interesting. I am wondering one thing....what the heck is that blue box for at the bottom of the staircase? There under the tread?
ReplyDeleteGreat house, and I'm crazy about the island in the kitchen - so love a touch of whimsy!! Happy Monday, Stacey ~
ReplyDeleteThe bookshelves are stunning. I would love to have a collection like that- what a statement!
ReplyDeleteOMG!!! The nursery, the master bedroom and the pool are to die for!!! I love this Stacey, good job finding it!!!
ReplyDeleteDelightful space. I love all the use of colour and yes it has a lot of warmth to it too. And the pool isn't too bad either. ;-) I just love looking at drool worthy homes. Lovely! xx veronika
ReplyDeleteHis use of colour in small doses is so well-done. Lovely house.
ReplyDeleteStacey,
ReplyDeleteLos Feliz sports some of the coolest homes you will ever find. Incredibly chic and laid back, yet just perfectly styled. Chef's parents inherited a small home in the hills there. It is nothing fancy like this and they just rent it out, but the neighbors have some unbelievably interesting abodes.
Loved this!!
xo,
C
Wow! So many things I love in this home. The pink sofa, Eames chair, I could go on.
ReplyDeleteSWOON!
ReplyDeleteThe island in the kitchen, complete with highchairs? I think my heart just melted.
I really love the bathroom and the kitchen. The pink sofa, mixing traditional legs and and modern seating is beautiful!
ReplyDeleteI love this house Stacey....actually I love that the photos were taken with reality left in.
ReplyDeleteThere are still high chairs in the shot, there is paperwork left on the bench, both the decorative mat and wipe your feet mat left at the front door and the scrubbing brush and fly swat left in the photos. Real living with style is my favourite.
stunning, stunning, stunning!
ReplyDeletei love the rug & the bathrooms, and the bunnies on the wall!! so cute :)
by the way HI!!!! <3
Truly amazing!! I am loving that antler light. So unique!
ReplyDeleteWhere have you seen Casa Honore?
ReplyDeleteOh sweeet Stacy, This is so, so MAGNIFIQUE INDEED! And I somehow missed your other post! I get up SO EARLY so I can capture everyone's new post for the day, but of course some people post while I am at work! I love that orange/honeysuckle settee against the bare white wall, and that kitchen...but those book cases with just a hint of aqua peeking out....OMG.
ReplyDeleteThank you for your kind words; remember being a teacher? Some days were just not good? I had a day like that yesterday....I need to start all over again TODAY!
CIAO MA BELLE!! Anita
out of this world! i've only seen the library...the rest of the house is fantastic. i liked the chandelier and high chairs, too. great inspiration, stacey!
ReplyDeleteLovely interiors, especially the first two!
ReplyDeleteIt looks like my dream house..I love all the colour combinations and the chandelier is so cool:) Happy Tuesday, sweetie
ReplyDeleteKisses
a wall of books would be my dream!
ReplyDeleteVery cool modern house. Love all the bookcases of course! And the kitchen is fabulous as well as that very interesting branch light fixture!
ReplyDeleteThough its not my personal style...I really liked the vibe of the house, really well done, happy, cohesive and crisp. I loved the bookcases, nothing like an ultra tall bookcase to make a room. Very nicely done.
ReplyDeleteThey are masters and keeping the space looking calm and almost void of colour and yet there are amazing pops of colour everywhere. Don't tell anyone I said this but I actually like the pink sofa;)...Carol
ReplyDeletethe house is beautiful but the last photo really got me! id love to have that pool and jacuzzi in my back yard!
ReplyDeleteIsabel @ Walk of Fashion

ReplyDeleteI have great respect for anyone that posts twice in one day. I'm lucky to get a few out a week. I can understand your enthusiasm here. the architecture is wonderful and so many detials. I love the black and white paper in the powder bath and that great large green and white print shower curtain. Fun house!
