Browsing the Aisles at Pier 1.

IMG_8695
I visited our local Pier 1 over the weekend and snapped some pictures while browsing their aisles. Sometimes, I tend to  just pop in there (although I don’t need to purchase anything) because my senses get such a treat!  I can’t get enough of their colourful kitchen items/ wares OR

the delicious scents from their candles and potpourri wafting in the air.

I  had a difficult time getting up out of this swing piece! So comfy! Do you see the brown chairs to the right? I have them in white-remember this post from my deck redo(though I just sold that house)… Anyway, they look great in that dark brown too. I wish I had taken a better picture so you could have a complete view of them.

Pier 1 always has such great sales too!  I am a huge fan of Pier 1!  Do you have a Pier 1 in your area?  Yay for Thursday-it’s almost the weekend my lovelies. XX

  4. Hello dearie!
Loving that comfy happy picture of you. And there is a slight 'it's mine' twinkle in your eye too. Wonderful! :)

We don't have 'Pier 1' here in Sydney. Not sure they are in Australia at all..

Hope you are all well and that the house is progressing well.

    Big hugs
    xx Charlotta

  6. We do have several but I haven't been in ages. Those colorful bowls in the first shot remind me on Anthro.

  7. Hi gorgeous! I am laughing b/c I just spend the last week in Pier 1. 4 trips and I think I exhausted myself...and the clerks :) I could tell you the layout of the store and all its' contents! Glad you had a field trip to the same museum :) XO

  8. We have a Pier 1 about 15 minutes away and you have made me want to take a little trip over there. I am always in awe of everything they stock...from dishes to furniture. I love to get my table linens there and of course, dishes!

Love the pictures of you in the chair...it looks like you were sold on it!

    XO,
    Jane

  9. Still mourning the closing of the Pier I near me. I don't get it. Surely my weekly visits were paying the electric bill at least.

  18. I worked there many years ago and going to work felt like I was shopping. The discount was great, though I spent most of my paychecks there. :) I haven't been in quite awhile...maybe this afternoon. Ha!

  22. Sadly no Pier 1 where I live, heck there is nothing here but I love it. Now you girl look like you've lost more weight, you look down right thin! And Baby Z looks like he's getting tall. I hope you have a wonderful weekend!

  27. I haven't been to a Pier 1 in years! I don't even know if there is one around here anymore. It's not quite as pretty, but I did go to Bed, Bath & Beyond last weekend. I can get lost in the place for hours.

  28. We do have a Pier One although I'm more of a Home Goods type of gal- do you have HG's in your area?

  29. I didn't even have to read the title; I knew EXACTLY where you were! It's my fav store to browse for room inspiration because of the bold colors + worldly charm. I do more looking than browsing though since they can be so expensive!! Lucky you to catch the good sales ;)

  33. I just stumbled across your site...very nice! I too love Pier 1 and used to work there part time. I was also a Partylite consultant and therefore my home is mostly Pier 1 and Partylite. Every time I go in there, I ended up leaving with something! Even if it wasn't my intention to buy. Too bad I no longer get my employee discount!
