I absolutely love to garden and sometimes i think i get carried away with planting flowers. I have a vegetable garden too that i had posted about
here. There are a couple garden beds with a mix of perennials and annuals in my yard. Additionally, I have flowers that are in pots and flowers that are also hanging on my deck(pictured above). I love waking up in the mornings and opening the blinds to let in the sun and admire the flowers. Even if the sun isn’t out, the colours from the flowers always brighten my day. Gardening is one of my treasured hobbies during the summer and into early fall. I find it to be very therapeutic too.

I especially love to see flowers on a window sill or
hanging from the window.
How adorable! I think they’re doing a bit of sunbathing:-). So, do you do also enjoy dabbling in the dirt a bit?

Hi Stacey! Hopped over from Flotsam Friends. The photo of your deck flowers is gorgeous, right up my alley! What are they?
ReplyDeleteGorgeous pictures! I love the last one with the bright house and cute pups.
ReplyDeleteI appreciate gardens but don't have much of one because I don't know what I'm doing... though I do have mums that are beginning to bloom outside!
Why yes I do. Took a pretty cute pic of the Baby Space toddler poking around in some flowers on the wknd...may have to post it. And also am rubbing my hands gleefully in anticipation that Spring + planting season is going to hit down under soon - can't wait!
ReplyDeleteWell, look at how good you are! Is that first photo from your own home? (All great images).
ReplyDeleteI leave all gardening to huz. I believe that I am a pretty nurturing soul but plants and I just don't seem to connect. They all run away from me! Haha!
But I admire people with green thumbs like yourself.

Yes, I really enjoy it!!! Lucky you who have a vegetable garden! Have a beautiful day! xoxo
ReplyDeleteSOOO gorgeous - I love that sweet last photo! I admire anyone who can garden (I do NOT have a green thumb). This must be therapeutic too :)
ReplyDeleteI love them too! Unfortunately I do not have a green thumb :( They always die, I can't understand it!
ReplyDeleteI so wish I could do it more but I dont have a graden...But I have a lovely mini-garden on my balcony:)hahaha
ReplyDeleteThose are such a cool photos:)
Happy Tuesday,sweetie
I am not so good with the flowers but I adore them. If my husband plants and tends to them, they grow but not me. Though, here in Phoenix, during the summer - everything struggles. I look forward to fall when we can have flowers again.
ReplyDeleteWindow boxes are so completely charming! Love them! We have a garden too! :)
ReplyDeleteI've recently been growing basil and mint, as well as caring for a few succulent plants. It's such a delight to do! One day, I would love a window box like in the pictures you shared.
ReplyDeleteOh I so love them too! Wish I could have one but it's not possible in my apartment. That second photo is absolutely gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! love that last photo, it's so colourful! I'm the worst gardener, though, unfortunately...
ReplyDeleteohhhh!!! I totally feel the same way about flowers! and I want a vegetable {or chilli} garden SO BAD!!!!
