That means having to deal with a husband who is deployed(off fighting the war) all the time. Well, i have seen a number of those deployments and each time seems to be more difficult than the next. I have been without dearest husband for 8 months and counting because he’s deployed again.

Baby Zion does keep me very busy and i'm thoroughly sleep deprived( but i'm not complaining:-)).

It’s an amazing feeling to know that the content i post is appreciated by so many of you:-). I thoroughly enjoy reading each comment. They definitely add a human touch to my blogging experience.

Thank YOU for sharing with us and taking us along for the ride! :)
ReplyDeleteton blog est super, je viens juste de le découvrir.

Etre mère est le plus beau métier du monde.
ReplyDeleteBon courage.
One of my twin sons wants to have a military career....I hope that his wish is to have what makes him happy and challenged and the other would be to have a wife who has independence and creativity to inspire and lead of life side by side, no matter the distance.
ReplyDeleteI really love how you have so much energy to keep a blog while raising a wee one independently. You both must be proud of all your efforts.

ReplyDeleteHappy Sunday!
Aw, what an inspiring post! It sucks that you have to be away from your husband for so long, but I'm very glad that you've pursued ways to stay occupied in his absence. Thanks for sharing this with us!
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing that with us! I am a newer follower and so I did not know this about you. It's always fun and interesting for me to get to know people through their blogs. It's like a whole community of people that lift you up and make you feel better. I just wish that life was like that everyday, wherever we go. Unfortunately, that's not the case.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad that you have this blog and all of us to bring that smile to your face. You are a lovely lady and have THE cutest baby boy. I adore him. If ever you need something, just call out to us and we'll be there!
I hope you're having a wonderful sunday!

Stacey- I'm so glad that we are getting to know each other through our blogs. It's been so much fun!
ReplyDeleteI would like to think that if we were in the same area, we would be friends! You are an amazing woman. And you're so strong from the sounds of it. Being able to care for your baby and yourself while you're husband is gone.
I admire you. Stay strong and know that we love you!

I had no idea yor husband spend a lot of time away from you and your little baby. That must be very difficult. My common- law spouse used to work away from home a lot before, but were able to come home in the weekends. I can´t imagine how it would be if he went away several months, and as a military!!!
ReplyDeleteYou must be a very strong woman and I truly admire you!!!
Thank You for always dropping by my blog, I´m always looking foward to it!
You seem to be a loving, caring, beautiful person and I wish you and your family all the best!
Lots of love from Sweden!
What a sweet, honest and thoughtful post.
ReplyDeleteSo very touching, too. Indeed it must be difficult for you with husband away at war.
Oh, my, you are one strong girl. Kiss the baby for me;-)
Thanks to you also. I too have known what its like to have a spouse off fighting this war. My thoughts and prayers are with you daily as you continue to wait for your husband's safe return. I have enjoyed your blog. Keep up the good work.

ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing all of that with us. You are an incredible woman. God bless you and yours. I wish you all the best.
ReplyDeleteGreat post! I bet it is hard with your husband being deployed a lot — we have a friend that's in the same situation. Thank you to him and his service!
ReplyDeleteYou have a wonderful blog and your creativity shows through it!
Hi Stacey - oh, this is such an inspiring post! I did not know and I am so touched by this (I also have to live an ocean away from my significant other at times...due to work...nothing like the military though, I know). I'm thinking of you & sending good (sunny, Hawaiian :-)) vibes your way. Your blog is so beautiful and it's been wonderful to share that "human touch" with you, thank *you* for sharing with us!
ReplyDeleteHi! I really enjoyed learning more about you. I adore your blog so much, so its nice to know more about the woman behind it. Hope you get your husband home safe real soon...and Zion is about the cutest name!

Hon I know from your email that your husband is in the army, but I had no idea he was gone for so long each round. I bet it is hard, but know that we are here and that you are not alone.
ReplyDeleteWhen is he home next? I bet he will be gobsmacked by how much Zion has grown!! Good that you at least have one man in the house! :)
And what a cutie he is!!
Lots of hugs

I just read this post Stacey and I have to say a big thankyou to your husband for being a man that will fight for all of us and thankyou for being a strong inspirational woman. I am lucky enough to have my hubby work here in the same city and somedays I find Motherhood tough.
ReplyDeleteYOu have just made me appreciate my challenging motherhood days that much more.
